2024 Summer Service Mission to Vietnam

For our summer 2024 service mission, VietCorps visited two ethnic minority schools in Quang Binh Province in Central Vietnam.   During this trip, we helped to create a library for the school by donating over 1,000 textbooks and other types of books requested by the schools’ principals and teachers.   Several of our students who have been participating in our English tutoring program and their families helped this service program, including helping us to access a remote village that is next to to the Vietnamese-Laos border.  The principals and teachers at the two schools are very grateful for our gifts, stating that the textbooks and other books are very valuable to the students and their teachers.
